Why commuters ride it

Built around the journey you make every day

Door-to-door, every morning

Request your ride when you are ready to leave. The van comes directly to the pickup location you select, so there is no walking to a stop.

Less than a taxi, every day

You share the van with people going the same way, so you pay for a seat, not the whole vehicle. The app shows the fare before you confirm.

No waiting at the roadside

Follow the van live in the app and step out when it arrives at your door, instead of waiting outside in the heat.

Arrive fresh

Air-conditioned vans with proper seats. No parking to find and no driving in rush-hour traffic.

A route drawn for the people on it

No line, no timetable. The route is recalculated from everyone who has booked, so the van goes where its passengers are going.

Cheaper again with Dubai Savers

Riding most days? AED 60 a month takes a flat 25% off eligible rides for 30 days.

Questions

Commuting with Citylink

How long will the driver wait for me?

Two minutes. The app shows when the van will arrive at your pickup location, so be ready before it does. If you are not there after two minutes, the driver leaves and you will need to book another ride.

What is Dubai Savers?

Dubai Savers (the Monthly Saver in the Terms and Conditions) is Citylink's monthly subscription: AED 60 for 30 consecutive days, giving you a flat 25% off the fare on eligible rides, with no limit on the number of rides and no weekend exclusions. A ride is eligible when it is at least 2.5 km, its fare is above the minimum fare of AED 7.5, and you pay for it by debit or credit card. Cash and wallet rides are charged the full fare. You buy the plan by card only, and it does not renew automatically: you buy it again in the app when the 30 days are up. There is also a Weekly Saver, 15% off eligible rides for 7 days, with the same rules.

Which areas of Dubai do you cover?

Citylink Shuttle covers 25 areas of Dubai, with routes across all of them: Deira, Karama, Al Nahda, Al Rigga, Al Qusais, Zaabeel, Al Garhoud, Al Twar, Abu Hail, Al Jaffaliya, DIFC, Dubai Downtown, World Trade Centre, Business Bay, Al Satwa, Al Safa, Al Quoz, Dubai Frame, Jaddaf, Al Wasl, Al Raffa, Al Souq Alkabeer, Al Ghurair, Al Rashidiya and Al Muteena. Citylink also operates in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia.
