1. Who we are

This Cookie Policy explains how Citylink Shuttle Passengers Transport L.L.C. (“Citylink Shuttle”, “we”), registered office at G05 Ground Floor, Arenco building 3 DIP, Dubai, UAE, uses cookies and similar technologies on the pages of the website citylink.mobi for the United Arab Emirates, at citylink.mobi/ae/ (the “Website”). It covers the Website only. The Citylink Shuttle app is covered by our Privacy Policy, which also explains your rights over your personal data and how to exercise them.

2. What cookies and similar technologies are

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies work the same way for the purposes of this policy: browser storage (such as local storage), which keeps information on your device, and tags or pixels, small pieces of code that send information to the company that provides them. In this policy, “cookies” refers to all of them.

Cookies set by the Website itself are first-party cookies. Cookies set by another company through the Website, for example an analytics or advertising provider, are third-party cookies.

3. How we ask for your consent

On your first visit, a banner lets you accept all cookies, reject all non-essential cookies, or choose by category. Essential cookies are always active. Analytics and marketing cookies stay off unless you switch them on, and nothing beyond the essential cookies is set until you have made a choice.

We remember your choice for six months, then ask again. We also ask again whenever this policy changes in a way that affects the categories below. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time from “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page of the Website. When you withdraw consent for a category, we delete the cookies of that category that the Website can reach and reload the page.

The Website uses Google Consent Mode: Google tools receive your choice and, when you have not consented, do not store cookies on your device for the purposes you refused.

4. The cookies we use

4.1 Essential (always active)

These are needed for the Website to work and to respect your choices. They do not require consent.

4.2 Analytics (only with your consent)

Analytics cookies count visits and show which pages are used and how visitors reach them, so we can improve the Website. We use Google Analytics.

4.3 Marketing (only with your consent)

Marketing cookies let our advertising partners measure our campaigns (for example, whether a visit to the Website came from one of our ads) and show you relevant advertising on other websites and apps. We use Google Ads, Meta Ads (Facebook and Instagram) and TikTok Ads.

The durations above are those set by each provider, which may change them. Third-party cookies are stored on the provider’s own domain: the Website cannot read or delete them, and they are governed by the provider’s privacy policy. These providers may process the data they collect outside the United Arab Emirates and the European Economic Area.

5. What the Website does not use

The Website’s fonts and images are served from our own domain, so loading a page does not contact a font or image provider. The Website has no embedded videos, maps or social media widgets.

The links to download the Citylink Shuttle app go through a link service provided by AppsFlyer, which records the click so that an app install can be attributed to the link that led to it. That happens on AppsFlyer’s page, after you leave the Website, and is governed by AppsFlyer’s own privacy policy. The Website itself sets no cookie for it.

6. Managing cookies in your browser

Besides “Cookie settings”, you can block or delete cookies and site data in your browser’s settings. Deleting the Website’s site data also deletes your cookie choice, and the banner will ask you again on your next visit. Blocking essential storage means the Website cannot remember your choice.

7. Changes to this policy

We will update this policy before adding any new cookie or tool to the Website. When a change affects the categories you consented to, the banner asks for your consent again. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
