Saver plans

A flat 30% off every eligible Citylink ride for 30 consecutive days with the Monthly Saver (KD 4), or 20% for 7 days with the Weekly Saver (KD 1.25). No cap on how many rides.

What a Saver plan is, and is not

It is a discount plan

For the length of the plan, eligible rides are charged at a flat discount (30% with the Monthly Saver, 20% with the Weekly Saver), with no limit on how many rides you take.

It is not a bundle of free trips

You still pay for each journey, at the discounted price. There is no ride quota to use up.

It does not reserve you a seat

A subscription gives you access to discounted fares when rides are available; it does not guarantee availability.

The small print, in plain English

Six things worth knowing before you buy

All of these come from the subscription terms. Reading them now is cheaper than finding out later.

Not every ride qualifies

A ride gets the discount only if it is at least 200 metres, its fare before the discount is above the minimum fare of 500 fils, and you pay for it by debit or credit card. Rides paid in cash or with wallet credit are charged the full fare, and the discount never takes a fare below the minimum.

It does not renew itself

The Monthly Saver runs 30 consecutive days and the Weekly Saver 7, from the date of purchase, and then simply end. You buy a new plan when you want another period.

Card only, and no refunds

Plans can only be bought with a debit or credit card: not cash, not wallet credit. Payments are non-refundable under any circumstances, used or not.

One account, non-transferable

The subscription belongs to the registered account that bought it. Sharing, reselling or commercial use is not permitted.

Only inside the service area

Plans are valid only within the designated service area, and Citylink may change routes or stop serving specific areas when necessary.

Deleting your account ends it

If you delete your account, any active subscription is permanently terminated and cannot be restored or refunded.

How do I pay, and can I pay in cash?

You can pay by cash, card or wallet: cash when you board the van, or by card or wallet credit in the app. Saver discounts apply only to rides paid by debit or credit card.
